i have also heard that GF may start some flights to USA. As more passengers would fly by gulf air due to the connection to iraq. I think that the new product would be unveiled at the 2010 Bahrain air show
I have been waiting for more info but they have not said anything else about the new product.
I have heard rumours that they are updating the in-flight entertainment and the seating, but sticking with the current livery for a few more years, but that may be just a rumour.
With regards to the potential shortage of aircraft they are reducing schedules to Europe from next year, but I don’t know if maybe they will lease some more 777′s next summer?
you have no information on why it crashed. i think gulf air is a very independent airline as it does not fully depend on the government. unlike emirates, qatar aiways and especiialy etihad

no the plane crashed in bahrain.. if your talking about the 737 crash..then yes it crashed in abu dhabi
but the new 330 will come in 2011… and the 787s in 2016.. so what are hey going to do when they are out of 340s? hey do you have any information of the “new product” . Because, i heard that GF will have new interiors ,livery etc..
